According to Ibrahim Awal Mohammed, the Minister-designate of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the Akufo-Addo led government is willing to inject money into making Ghana a film hub in West Africa. He said the government also plans to establish state-of-the-art studios for both music and film in the country. "The film studio will help in music and film production and make Ghana the hub of film production in West Africa," he said, adding, "We intend to put $20 million into making Ghana a film hub in West Africa."
